I’ve got a lot of things I’ve been wanting to say for a while.
Firstly, I’ve officially quit my job
to take a very extended trip to Brazil [info]
with my lovely girlfriend. For those into long-term planning, that means there is a highly qualified web developer
to be looking for freelance gigs [seriously, email me]for the summer and then eventually full-time employment
in Columbus, Ohio.

Speaking of which, I’m sitting in a sandwich shop in Columbus as I type this, doing work (or at least looking busy.

I read two great graphic novels on the plane ride last night.
The first was Hello Again, by Max Estes,
a story about a building manager faced with his past.
Also, James Kochalka’s [I called him Cock-Choke-ah to his face once] Magic Boy & The Robot Elf.
It’s a pretty deranged story, like most of his stuff, but definitely entertaining.

I’ve come to a few conclusions.

The only Social Networking site I use is Facebook, which I’ve actually begun to find incredibly useful for keeping in touch with people. If you’d like to, add me as a friend
I wish I had learned this lesson from Jeffrey Veen then, rather than having to arrive at that conclusion by myself; in summary, don’t bother saving things for later, because you most likely don’t give a shit about them later either
I have actually found money to be a great equalizer in obtaining music. There is certain music that I’ve very excited to get in advance of actual release dates, but as it turns out, if I’m not willing to buy your record, I probably don’t give a shit about your music.

I’ve finally finished a huge project at work and another freelance gig, I’m considering forking this site to a personal page. Anybody have any clever/ funny ideas for a dot tk domain name for me?

Its funny, I think its easier for me to get up early when I don’t have to go to work, then when I do.

Kinda makes me want to become a freelancer fulltime.

In related news, I’ve been all confused lately about a lot of things. It’s funny how idealistic perfectionism can result in depression.

I’m looking for a Ruby on Rails Mentor.
