Outsourced – Movie – Review – New York Times

Why can’t you buy a download for something like this TODAY. It’s never going to be in a theatre in Columbus, and I’m never going to rememember to look for it in 7 months when it comes to my local rental place… or I could just use Netflix.

How I learned to stop putting things off and re-skin my site.

Friday, September 28th, 2007

This site has been evolving, as I’ve experimented with importing things from various sources. But as I was reading through my list of Starred items in Google Reader and old bookmarks, I wondered why I keep old things to eventually read..

I’ve had this Comedy College site bookmarked for who knows how long. Maybe if it were in iTunes I would have listened to it earlier, but nevertheless, I need to stop putting things off.

So if you are visiting my (Tyler Kremberg’s) site in a RSS reader, go check out the results of my 60 second redesign. It’s nothing profound, but certainly cleaner and is helping me look at the world with a fresh outlook today.

Hope you enjoy!

Barry Bonds ball donated to Cooperstown, with asterisk. But, the interesting part, to quote from the article:

Pete Nash, a baseball historian who was also one of the members of 3rd Bass, a defunct rap group, said writing on baseballs dates from the 1850s.”

Wikipedia link mine, which reveals a great tidbit of 3rd Bass trivia: “3rd Bass is credited with discovering Nas”

There you have it, from Barry Bonds -> 3rd Bass -> Nas.

I think that’s funny.

More reading, less writing.

I’ve been exploring this new city of Columbus and found myself at the Columbus Museum of Art, a great little museum with lots of interesting, local exhibits. They had a great showing of old New York photography, including this great shot of the company my dad works for: SH Laufer:

I also picked up a great book that I guess I just needed the right impetus to read. Paul Arden’s, It’s Not How Good You Are, It’s How Good You Want To Be. I’ve come to believe there exist certain experiences that you can’t really appreciate until you are ready. Reading this book was one of them. A tidy collection of inspiration, its not preachy nor over-marketed (here’s looking at you Seth Godin) If anybody wants my copy, I’d be more than happy to pass it along for inspiration.
