TwitterWhich is more appealing?
- a life of leisure
- a life of accomplishment
I at first answered a life of leisure, as for a long time all I’ve wanted is no monthly bills, and to just chill. But I’m beginning to take the turn, as there are things I’ve set out to do that I really want to accomplish.
Also, from the same stupid online survey: Which traditional wisdom is more true?
- Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
- Women can’t control their emotions.
Comedy response from my dad:”women cant control all their eggs”
Keep Reading » Comments OffThe whole point of the last post was to put in this video from a friend of the environment and the man who gave my commencement address, Bill Richardson.
Take that Obama.
Keep Reading » Comments OffI saw my good friend, (and boss) Todd, win the lawyer’s league championships at MSG last night.
Also, might of made a few very helpful connections in Columbus, OH via LinkedIn
Also, three weeks (holy crap!) from tomorrow is my last day here at Starwood. I’ve been working on some really fun stuff for the new SPG site, that I’ll talk about once it launches.
And the most exciting news: our offer was accepted on an amazing place in Columbus. Short North to be specific, one block from Goodale Park, one and a half from High Street, walking distance to everything! It’s the oldest carriage house in Columbus, and was once the Veterinarians office
Major bonus points for my girlfriend Johanna, who’s in Vet School. We both fell in love with the place immediately. Anyway, check out the listing (with pictures)

why I still subscribe to the RSS feed of my alma mater’s (terrible) paper is beyond me.
but I needed to share this playfully awful article title: “It’s no lye…organic soap is sud-sational!” [article]
Keep Reading » Comments OffI’ve been on hold with Delta for 1 hour and five minutes, I’ve heard kiss me by sixpence none the richer three times.
But hopefully when this is over I will have tickets to brazil!!!!
also, this is kind of a cool music recommendation idea
But I’m eagerly awaiting Hrvatski’s brother Brian’s echo nest

There seems to be a pretty cool music scene out there, although some dumb shit is going on with one venue. Come on, they can’t cover an 1800/ month increase (to $6000/ month!) in rent? Something isn’t right here. I’m almost considering buying it myself…
And while Columbus is the largest US city without a MLB team, they do have some other kick ass sports.
And oh, yeah, the best part about Columbus? My girlfriend is there…
Keep Reading » Comments OffI’ve got a lot of things I’ve been wanting to say for a while.
Firstly, I’ve officially quit my job
to take a very extended trip to Brazil [info]
with my lovely girlfriend. For those into long-term planning, that means there is a highly qualified web developer
to be looking for freelance gigs [seriously, email me]for the summer and then eventually full-time employment
in Columbus, Ohio.
Speaking of which, I’m sitting in a sandwich shop in Columbus as I type this, doing work (or at least looking busy.
I read two great graphic novels on the plane ride last night.
The first was Hello Again, by Max Estes,
a story about a building manager faced with his past.
Also, James Kochalka’s [I called him Cock-Choke-ah to his face once] Magic Boy & The Robot Elf.
It’s a pretty deranged story, like most of his stuff, but definitely entertaining.
What the hell, if you are reading this, and want either of them, send me an email and they are yours:
bazoomercom [at] gmail.com , for serious.
